DYZRUPT’S AFRICAN WOMEN EMPOWERMENT FUNDING CHALLENGE SET TO OPEN APPLICATIONS ON FRIDAY, 30TH APRIL, 2021
Dyzrupt Limited is excited to announce the details of one of our leading initiatives marked to bring in mass adoption to both our ecosystem and blockchain as a whole across the continent.
Dyzrupt African Women’s Empowerment (Dyz-AWE) — Dyz-AWE was created to help develop African communities through funding of existing businesses and start-ups that have potential for creating employment and exceptional financial returns. For the first Season of funding, the program will target Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Women living in these countries and aged 18–45 yrs. are eligible to apply for funding. The winner will be awarded $30,000.00 to invest under the guidance and supervision of designated business consultant(s). Second runner Up will take home, 5000$ and 10 other finalists will each take home $500. Further to this, we are excited to announce that every single female entrepreneur who applies will be joining DYZ-AWE DECIA, a specially curated knowledge platform to teach all applicants the unparalleled skill of Blockchain wealth creation via trading.
The application process will follow these steps:
You must hold at least $10.00 worth of Dyzrupt (DYZ) tokens to apply. Details on how to access our Utility Token for African Countries will be announced before Applications officially open. (Kindly note that this is not an application fee and the 10$ is still yours, you just need to hold it for the period of the application)
- Download the Dyzrupt App via Google Play Store Below (iOS version Coming Soon) and Create an Account.
- Copy your Wallet Address from within the App and use it to purchase the $DYZ Token via our Partner Exchange (soon to be announced). Ensure that the 10$ is in your Wallet before beginning the application
2. Fill out the DYZ-AWE application and submit it within the stipulated period within the App. Applications will be opened from the 30th of April to the 1st of June, 2021.
3. A panel of experts and Dyzrupt LTD team will shortlist 100 applicants
4. Those shortlisted will be called to pitch their businesses or start-ups to a panel of senators on Zoom
5. The top 16 candidates will present weekly to the Dyzrupt community via Zoom
6. The show/presentation will be recorded for the Dyzrupt LTD YouTube channel and our Television Broadcasting Partner.
7. The Dyzrupt community will sequentially vote for the top 10, 5, 3, and 1 candidate(s) weekly for 24 hours after each show or set of presentations
8. During each week of voting, each vote will be worth $0.50, you can vote with as many tokens as you want, but only once for your favorite candidate(s)
9. After each week of voting, voters can withdraw their tokens and re-use them to vote during the subsequent weeks
10. Subject to Covid-19 travel conditions, the first winners’ award event will be televised and hosted in South Africa.
11. The winner will be awarded $30,000.00 to invest under the guidance and supervision of designated business consultant(s).
